Turkish-Islamic Scholars Over Time

Abstract

In this article, there are activities about the acqusition students evaluate the contribution of scientific development period of traveller who lived in Turkish-Islamic goverment that takes place in the unit of Science over Time which is in the field of Science, Technolgy and Society about 7th grade Social Studies in secondary school. Turk-Islam scholars, their contributions to science and concept of change and continuity are taught to students via activities. Activities are devoted to students permanent learning. Activities are prepared in order to make students active in the lesson.In this study It is aimed to making inference for students about scholars grew up in Turk-Islam Government and their contributions to scientific development period. To ensure the lesson efficient in terms of the teacher and students is among the objective of activity. At the end of activities the concepts of change and continuity with the perception of time and chronology were understood by students.
