Heritage Left for Me

Abstract

This study contains an activity intended for the 4th and 5th outcomes of the unit named “Our World” in “Global Links” included 5th grades Social Studies Curriculum. Through this activity, it was aimed to enhance students’ learning skills by giving examples from heritage in other countries besides the students' immediate surroundings, and also it was aimed to provide permanence. By this activity, students gained more consciousness about the places they see every day or several times in their lives. During the 40+40 lecture time, students gained more consciousness about knowing common heritage, historical heritage and local common heritage around them, and they became more aware of the importance of advertising touristic places.
